I'm Elaine Foster, happily married since 1995, proud mum to two wonderful grown-up daughters, and now a fully qualified celebrant with a heart full of excitement for this new chapter!

After more than 30 years in the travel industry, from helping people book their dream holidays to working in customer service and later as a data analyst, I’ve gathered a wealth of experience that now shapes the way I create and deliver ceremonies. As a travel agent, I learned the art of building rapport and truly understanding what people want. In customer service, I honed my listening skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities. In data analytics, I developed a sharp eye for detail, a love of organisation, and the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer points, all of which help me craft ceremonies that are thoughtful, seamless, and deeply personal.

I discovered my true calling in the most unexpected place: a friend’s wedding in the summer of 2024. Watching the celebrant bring the couple’s story to life with warmth and meaning, I had a lightbulb moment: “I want that job!” That spark led me to train with Civil Ceremonies Ltd, where I earned my NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Naming and Couples Celebrancy in early 2025.

Now, I have the privilege of designing bespoke ceremonies that reflect your unique story, with sincerity, style, and a touch of joy. Whether you're planning a wedding, vow renewal, or naming ceremony, I’m here to make it personal, heartfelt, and truly you.

I’m a big fan of travel, theatre, good food, and great company. I’ve always been the planner in the group, the one with the lists, the timelines, and the knack for remembering the little things that matter. I also love a good chat, hearing your story, and helping you bring your vision to life.
